Job description

Rapidly growing and fast paced technology company located in Wakefield MA is looking to hire a telecom cable installer.

What you’ll do

• Install troubleshoot test and terminate all categories of copper cable, coaxial, and fiber cables.
• Install and troubleshoot paging systems and other electronics
• Install racks, cabinets, shelves, ladder rack, cable tray, conduit, sleeves, fire stop, patch cords, WAP’s and anything else related to Division 27 projects
• Perform work at various heights and work from all types of ladders and man lifts
• Work in data center environments
• Site Surveys
• Complete work in a timely and efficient manner as delegated

Requirements/Skills:

• 1 -5 years’ experience in the telecommunications cabling field
• Background check, driving record check, drug test, neat appearance
• Some personal tools will be required
• Ability and willingness to travel overnight as required
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• BICSI credentials and fiber certification a plus
• Ability to work at heights and on ladders
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Reliable, top-notch work ethic
• Other duties as assigned
